Moon Phases

Moon Phases was my very first four piece jewelry set. This piece evolved from a college assignment prompt into a deep sentimental piece. The assignment was to create a body of work using reticulated silver. Once I had my silver sheet reticulated, I immediately saw the surface of the moon, hence the moon phases set was born. The pendant backing is in the shape of the Taurus zodiac sign, and has a full range of moon phases along the top curvature. The phases are indicated with birchwood Casey antiquing and Keum boo gold. The largest moon on the pendant is my own birth moon phase. The earrings have opal triplets set in silver bezels. The bracelet is stamped with my name “Love”. The chains are all hand made.
