Everlasting Orchid

Inspired by the delicate and finite nature of the Orchid flower, this piece aims to embody the beauty and grace without the fear of death and decay. This piece was hand fabricated using hollow forming techniques to create the base structure and the petals. The detailing is all hand chasing with chasing tools and hammers. Materials used are copper, brass, silver solder, and moonstone.
