Victorian Book Bracelet

Victorian Book Bracelet 〰️

A project semi-abandoned has gained the attention of many people at this point, causing me to reconsider my motivations to leave this project unfinished.

I fell in love with the idea of an Alice in Wonderland themed set of jewelry. During my second semester as a metal smithing student, I attempted to make this a reality. You can find the book locket here on my portfolio. The book bracelet was side, passion project I had started in between graded projects. Although, this wasn’t typically allowed in the metal smithing class, my professor allowed me to continue to work on my side project as long as my school work came first. As the end of the semester approached, my bee pendant project (also can be found here) became very involved and took priority over the bracelet. Eventually the bracelet was left in a small box inside my toolbox, semi-forgotten.

Since then, I graduated with my degree in Fine Arts and started a job as a professional bench jeweler for a large national jewelry company. My experience in my profession has only increased my confidence in returning to this project.

I have given it some thought and after several people have reached out about this project, decided I will be making 5 custom bracelets in sterling silver.

If you are interested in 1 of 5 one of a kind pieces, stay tuned for future updates and commission openings.
